Katherine Covell is a film maker living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her first effort, "Paint Louis '98: Throwdown in the Show-Me State", won several awards, including a St. Louis/MidAmerica Region 1999 Emmy Award. More recently, she associate produced the television documentary "Who Owns the Past?", featured last November on the PBS series Independent Lens. She is now working in numerous art department capacities on both features and shorts. She just completed work as art director for a short film and was the set dresser for the independent feature "Cherish," directed by Finn Taylor and starring Robin Tunney and Tim Blake Nelson, that is an official selection for Sundance this year.
